Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
These terms are intended to protect genuine affiliates, customers and Watchdives from misleading promotion, attribution abuse and fraudulent activity. By participating in the Watchdives Affiliate Program, you agree to comply with the following rules.
1. Genuine Promotion and Valid Traffic
Affiliates must send genuine, voluntary traffic from audiences they actually reach through disclosed websites, publications, social media accounts, video channels, communities or other approved promotional channels. Traffic generated through deception, automation, manipulation, fraud or attribution hijacking is not eligible for commission.
2. Tracking, Cookies and Attribution
Watchdives uses affiliate links, cookies and other tracking methods to attribute referrals. Affiliates must not manipulate tracking or cause an affiliate cookie or referral identifier to be set without a genuine user-initiated interaction.
Prohibited practices include, but are not limited to, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden iframes, automatic redirects, pop-unders, invisible links, adware, toolbar or browser-extension injection, coupon injection, click interception, checkout interception, or any other method designed primarily to claim credit for traffic the affiliate did not genuinely originate.
3. Paid Search and PPC Policy
Paid search advertising requires prior written approval from Watchdives. Unless Watchdives has provided written authorization, affiliates may not use Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Yahoo Ads, Baidu Ads, Yandex Ads or any other paid search platform to advertise Watchdives.
Without written approval, affiliates may not bid on or purchase keywords containing or confusingly similar to:
- Watchdives, WatchDives or WDC;
- misspellings, variations or translations of Watchdives brand terms;
- Watchdives product names, model names or model numbers;
- brand-plus-intent terms such as “Watchdives coupon,” “Watchdives discount,” “Watchdives promo code,” “Watchdives sale,” “Watchdives review,” or similar combinations.
Affiliates may not direct paid search advertisements straight to wetchdives.com using an affiliate link, referral parameter, redirect or tracking cookie unless specifically authorized in writing. Affiliates may also not present themselves as Watchdives, use Watchdives trademarks in misleading ad copy, or use Watchdives-branded domains, subdomains or display URLs without permission.
4. Coupon, Deal and Promotional Code Rules
Affiliates may promote only coupon codes and promotions that Watchdives has made public or has explicitly provided to that affiliate for promotion. Affiliates may not invent coupon codes, misrepresent expired or unavailable promotions, claim unauthorized “exclusive” discounts, or advertise codes in a misleading way.
Coupon and deal sites may not automatically set an affiliate cookie before the user intentionally clicks a Watchdives offer. Browser extensions, toolbars, coupon injection, automatic code application that also changes attribution, or similar last-second attribution techniques are prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.
5. Self-Referrals and Controlled Transactions
Affiliates may not earn commission on purchases made by themselves or on transactions they directly control, including orders placed using their own payment method, household-controlled accounts, employee accounts, test accounts or other arrangements created primarily to generate affiliate commission. Watchdives may review related account, order and transaction signals when determining eligibility.
6. Traffic Source Disclosure
Affiliates must accurately disclose, upon request, the websites, social media accounts, video channels, communities, coupon sites, advertising accounts, applications, browser extensions or other channels used to promote Watchdives.
If Watchdives requests information about a traffic source, campaign or promotion, the affiliate must provide reasonable supporting information. Refusal to disclose a material traffic source may result in commissions being held while the account is reviewed.
7. Email, Messaging and Social Promotion
Affiliates must comply with applicable advertising, privacy, anti-spam and endorsement-disclosure requirements. Unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited SMS or messaging, deceptive social posts, impersonation of Watchdives, misleading claims about pricing or availability, and false statements about an official relationship with Watchdives are prohibited.
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship where required by applicable law or platform rules.
8. Fraud Prevention and Suspicious Activity
Watchdives reviews transactions for authenticity and may investigate unusual patterns, including repeated orders from related sources, unrealistic purchasing patterns, abnormal cancellation or refund rates, suspicious payment behavior, card-testing patterns, duplicate transactions or other indicators of fraud or abuse.
Watchdives may withhold, reject or cancel commission on transactions determined to be fraudulent, manipulated, non-genuine or generated through prohibited promotional methods.
9. Order Verification
Watchdives may require additional verification for high-value orders, unusual traffic spikes, suspicious activity or other transactions that require manual review. Affiliate commissions may remain pending while the underlying order, payment, fulfillment or traffic source is being verified.
10. Commission Eligibility
Commission is payable only for genuine, qualifying sales attributed to an affiliate in compliance with these terms. Unless otherwise stated in an approved affiliate arrangement, an order must be successfully paid, completed and shipped before commission becomes eligible for payout.
Commission may be rejected, reversed or withheld for canceled orders, refunded orders, chargebacks, fraudulent or unauthorized payments, duplicate or test orders, self-referrals, internal orders, manipulated attribution, or transactions generated through prohibited traffic or promotional methods.
Service adjustments, shipping-only payments, repair or replacement transactions, manual payment adjustments and other non-standard transactions may be excluded from commission when they do not represent a genuine new retail sale generated by the affiliate.
The affiliate dashboard may display tracked or pending transactions before final validation. A tracked conversion does not by itself guarantee that commission is payable.
11. Product Eligibility & Low-Value Transactions
Unless Watchdives has expressly approved otherwise in writing, commission is available only on qualifying retail watch purchases. Accessory-only orders, watch straps, replacement parts, repair or service items, shipping-only payments and manual adjustments are excluded from commission. For mixed orders containing a qualifying watch and excluded items, only the qualifying watch items are eligible for commission.
A low order value alone does not establish fraud. However, small payments, service charges, replacement payments or transactions created primarily to trigger affiliate tracking do not qualify as genuine referred watch sales. Tracking an order or displaying a pending commission does not override these exclusions.
12. New Customer Attribution
Unless an approved written affiliate arrangement states otherwise, commissions are intended to reward the acquisition of genuine new customers. Purchases by existing customers and repeat purchases are not eligible for commission under the standard program.
An affiliate link or coupon used immediately before checkout does not by itself demonstrate that the affiliate introduced the customer. Watchdives may review referral timing, disclosed promotional sources and available customer and order history to determine whether the affiliate genuinely generated the purchase.
Transactions that merely capture an existing customer's repeat purchase, intercept a customer with documented prior purchase intent, or otherwise claim a non-incremental conversion without genuine affiliate influence may be excluded from commission. Eligibility reviews are based on available evidence; a tracked click alone does not guarantee payout.
13. Use of Watchdives Brand Assets
Approved affiliates may use Watchdives-provided banners, product images and other approved materials for legitimate promotion. Affiliates may not register domains, social handles, business names or advertising identities that impersonate Watchdives or could reasonably cause users to believe the affiliate is an official Watchdives-operated property.
Watchdives trademarks, logos and brand assets must not be altered or used in misleading, defamatory or unlawful content.
14. Enforcement
Watchdives may review an affiliate account at any time where there is evidence of fraud, attribution manipulation, prohibited paid search, unauthorized coupon activity, misleading promotion or other material violation of these terms.
Depending on the circumstances, Watchdives may hold or reject affected commissions, request additional verification, suspend promotional privileges, block an affiliate account, or terminate participation in the affiliate program. Serious manipulation or fraud may result in forfeiture of affected unpaid commissions.
15. Policy Updates and Effective Date
Effective date: September 30, 2026.
Watchdives may update these Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions as the program evolves. Material new restrictions apply to traffic and promotional activity occurring on or after the effective date of the updated terms unless the same conduct was already prohibited under an earlier anti-fraud, anti-manipulation or abuse rule.
Affiliates are responsible for reviewing the current terms before running new campaigns. If you are unsure whether a promotional method is permitted, please obtain written approval from Watchdives before launching it.
By participating in the Watchdives Affiliate Program, you agree to these terms. Our goal is to reward affiliates who create genuine incremental awareness, traffic and sales while protecting customers and partners from misleading or abusive attribution practices.
